The sad truth is that many people buy rabbits at Easter without learning about rabbit care and without being ready to commit to care for them for 10 years, so many rabbits die and are abandoned after Easter.
Better Bunny Hawaii gave me the idea for this comic. I felt kind of sad drawing it, but I agree with them that this message about Easter rabbits needs to be spread as much as we can!
